![]() To promote the upcoming Dangerous Encounters with Brady Barr episode and generate video views of the Brady Barr “Snake Bite” clip, 360i developed a click-to-play video clip which was promoted through digital word of mouth and on the Google site-targeting network. 360i recommended utilizing YouTube’s recent offering, InVideo ads, to promote the Snake Bite episode across relevant YouTube categories including Enteratainment, Pets & Animals, Travel, News & Politics, and People & Blogs. For the YouTube initiative, 360i created a flash overlay which linked to the :30 promotional video and a 300x250 companion ad which linked to the National Geographic Channel Dangerous Encounters homepage. Results of the YouTube campaign found that click-to-play rate and click-through-rate were both highest on the day before the premiere. Of viewers who watched 100% of the video, InVideo saw a higher click-through-rate than Site-Targeting which suggests than when on YouTube, online users are more likely to watch a full video.
