In 2012, Facebook rolled out a new format for Pages that enhanced the way brands told their stories on the platform. Coca-Cola was one of the very first brands to take advantage of the new canvas, partnering with 360i to reinvent the way it shared its historic narrative across a global community of more than 40 million fans.

Coca-Cola stayed true to the "fans first" approach that made it the most popular brand destination on Facebook and placed fans at the center of its decades-old story. We reached back into the Coca-Cola archives to unearth fan pictures, postcards and letters – as well as early interactions with the brand on Facebook – that would serve as the script to the storyline. Tapping into this rich UGC, we turned the Timeline into a global showcase of 125 years of Coca-Cola love.
